The Network Exchanger (NEx) is a series connected transformer and power electronics system, the can be retrofitted to substations or integrated into new transformers to create up to 20% extra grid capacity.
How does NEx help with distributed energy generation?

For integration of these assets, the grid needs to have enough capacity to allow for to take the power generated at its peak. NEx is implemented at a substation level and can therefore be placed in one or several substation locations around the generation asset providing targeted capacity gains to support rapid growth.
Can NEx integrate with existing substation systems?
