With two decades of rich experience in power electronics and software control systems, Veimar is uniquely qualified to lead our engineering team. His profound expertise and visionary leadership are expected to drive world-class solutions that exceed customer expectations in an ever-evolving tech landscape.
Veimar’s professional journey includes significant roles at leading companies. Most recently, he served as the Lead Engineer in Systems Engineering at GE Power Conversion for over a year, making substantial contributions to advanced power conversion technologies. Before that, he was a System Leader in Deceleration Control Systems at Jaguar Land Rover for nearly four years. He oversaw significant projects that combined innovative engineering with practical, customer-focused solutions.
Veimar’s career trajectory includes his impactful tenure as a Senior Systems Engineer at Applus IDIADA, where he developed cutting-edge systems from 2016 to 2018. Before this, he spent over nine years at GE Energy Management, furthering his expertise in power electronics. These roles underscore his ability to navigate complex engineering challenges and lead teams towards creating impactful technological solutions.
In addition to his industry experience, Veimar has a solid academic background. He served as the Head of the School of Electronic Engineering at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, where he played a pivotal role in shaping future engineers. His early career also included a tenure as a Lecturer in the School of Systems Engineering at Universidad de Boyacá, illustrating his commitment to education and knowledge sharing in the field of engineering.
