In April this year the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) published its Stage 1 report, a technical analysis, on how Australia can address the challenges of increasing renewables in the National Energy Market (NEM) while maintaining network security.
Third Equation was grateful for the opportunity to respond to the invitation for feedback on the key challenges and approaches to mitigate instability issues of system strength and frequency, and uncertainty, while optimising wind and solar as a significant part of the energy mix.
